| Description: | Serves the members by processing certain transactions submitted through a teller station. Cross sells Credit Union services as the primary contact with the members. Manages a cash drawer.
A Floater Teller must be able to move daily between all branch locations - Riverhead to West Babylon. |
| Duties: | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receive and processes all members financial transactions.
2. Request and replenish cash drawer on a daily or more frequent basis, as well as other supplies needed on the counter station.
3. Responsible for maintaining teller drawer cash within the appropriate levels.
4. Responsible to cross sell the products and services of the Credit Union.
5 Responsible to participate fully in end of day work; ex: prep of checks, microfilming them)
6. Responsible for the accuracy and completion of the teller daily proof.
7. Keep all Credit Union member and employee related business in strictest confidence.
8. Treat all Credit Union members AND employees with a positive and cooperative attitude.
9. Consistently maintain and improve skills and knowledge for efficient service delivery.
10. Perform all other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: | 1. Education equivalent of a high school diploma. Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed such as typing skills, office routines, elementary accounting procedures, operation of equipment such as a calculator, or a computer terminal.
2. Some similar or related experience required.
3. Basic mathematical skills required.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior cash handling experience. Must be able to travel between branch locations. |
